ZOE THURSTON
Dip(BCNH), BSc. (Hons) CNHC
Fully qualified Registered Nutritional Therapist, graduating with distinction from BCNH (www.bcnh.co.uk).
My approach to Nutrition Coaching is compassionate and pragmatic. I really enjoy working with people to identify their goals and challenges, to pinpoint the changes to what they eat that could really make a difference to how they feel.
As we get older we start to feel less invincible than we did in our 20's and can put niggling health concerns or chronic health issues down to normal ageing, or a temporary problem such as sleep or stress. However, eating differently can have a big impact on how we feel day to day and supporting our health better can help us enjoy life more now in the present, and as we age.
Being a busy working mum and having previously pursued a stressful corporate career, I understand the many competing demands you are managing day to day. I love working with busy women who really want to find ways to support their health better but would like some help to make this happen.
Sometimes wading through the mass of information about food and health is just more than you have time for, or maybe you know what you should be eating or feeding your family but can’t find the time to put that knowledge into practice.
In the short term I may recommend testing and supplements, however, to help you change how you eat on a long term basis it is important to go beyond simply providing information.
We need to draw on your own motivations and create plans that are practical in your life and sustainable in the long term. Good nutrition coaching is about helping you to learn to nurture yourself.

What people say about Zoe Thurston ...
"I would highly recommend nutritional therapy with Zoe. It has made me much more aware about the food I eat and I really feel that with Zoe's help I have been able o make positive changes to my diet. Having an underlying medical condition, the therapy has also made me much more aware of potential triggers and given me a better understanding of foods which are best avoided."
"I am a very fussy eater and I worried that I would struggle to eat the foods that Zoe would suggest. However Zoe always thinks outside the box and came up with lots of alternative suggestions which means that I could follow the plan she had devised and really feel like I could make the changes in the long term."
